Photographer Leanne began the Ossabaw excursions with penchant for bringing equipment to cover every possible photographic need... her pile of gear on the dock in 2005 was truly impressive. It was a measure of progress that she pared down the pile considerably in 2006. And she made real strides in 2008: She arrived at the dock, rummaged around in the car muttering, "I know there's a camera here somewhere." 2009 brought a real transformation -- one camera, two lenses, 3 T-shirts.

Leanne can always be counted on to be the first person up in the morning... she is usually up and out before dawn. There is a very funny story from 2004 about a watch malfunction that had her up 'n' out and on Jim Bitler's porch pre-pre-dawn, but you'll have to hear it from her.
